What we hold, and how to stop it.
What we ask for
Your email address. A mobile number only if you tick the box asking for texts. And, if you want, a note that you might help build this. That note is a flag for one future invitation, not a commitment to anything.
If you’re outside Bixby Knolls and ask us to bring the Commons to your neighborhood, we also ask for the neighborhood and city you have in mind. Never a street address.
What we do with it
Send you launch news and Knolloween first looks. That is the whole purpose. MailerLite delivers the email and Twilio delivers the texts, so your address and number pass through them. We do not sell your contact information and we do not give it to anyone else.
We use that note to understand where neighbors want us to bring the Commons next. It is not a promise, a membership, or a separate mailing list. Those neighborhood requests stay with the Commons and do not go to MailerLite or Twilio.
What we keep
Your contact details, your consent (what you agreed to and when), and the neighborhood you named if you asked us to bring the Commons there. If you text us, we keep the message, because a neighbor reaching out is worth remembering. Contact details are encrypted, and the people who can read them are the people running this.
How to leave
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works in one step. Reply STOP to any text and the texts end. If you want everything gone rather than paused, write [email protected] and ask us to remove you. A person reads that address, deletes what we hold, and writes back to tell you it is done.
